This week’s calendar decides what your holiday money goes on: an MMO, a Nintendo 64 classic remade, or a four-player VR heist. World of Warcraft: Forever opens the biggest launch of the week on Wednesday, November 4 at 3 p.m. PST, Nintendo’s remake of a Nintendo 64 classic lands the day after, and four games join Game Pass on their launch days. Here is every notable release between Monday, November 2 and Sunday, November 8.

Monday, November 2

GRAVHOUNDS (PC, Xbox Series X|S). Octopus Panic’s co-op action builder lands on PC and Xbox Series X|S on Monday, and it joins Game Pass on day one, according to Xbox Wire’s Next Week on XBOX column. One to four players drop onto hostile planets, build and defend a base and extract with everything they can carry. Steam has no purchase box yet.

Tuesday, November 3

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered (PS5, PC). Atari’s rebuild of the classic arena fighter hits PlayStation 5 and Steam on Tuesday with 12 kaiju, each with its own stats, moveset and special abilities, plus local co-op and new online multiplayer. Neither store shows a price yet. Our launch story has the roster breakdown.

ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut (Xbox Series X|S; PC since May 21). The expanded espionage RPG from the Disco Elysium team reaches Xbox Series X|S on Tuesday, and Xbox Wire lists it as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. The PC edition has been on Steam since May 21 at $39.99.

PIT OF GOBLIN (Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass day one). Friendly Foe’s online horror co-op, where you play a goblin scavenging dungeons to feed the Goblin King-Queen, comes to Xbox on Tuesday and joins Game Pass the same day. The PC version has been in Steam Early Access since December 2024, priced at $5.99 and currently on sale for $4.19.

Wednesday, November 4

World of Warcraft: Forever (PC, Battle.net). Blizzard’s reimagining of the original continents launches worldwide at 3 p.m. PST, which is 11 p.m. UTC, and it carries you from level 1 to 60 across more than 1,000 new quests, nine dungeons and the new Skyborne race. Game Time means the extra playtime you buy on top of a subscription, and either one covers the base game on its own. The Skyborne race sits behind the optional Heroic Pack, which our hub prices at $29.99. Our launch-week guide covers the homework.

CRYMELIGHT (PS5, Switch 2, PC). FURYU’s roguelike, where girls fight their sins in the afterlife, opens on Wednesday, November 4 in the US and on November 5 in Japan. The Nintendo eShop lists it at $17.99. Our beginner’s guide explains the poker system and the Wonder Dimension.

VOID/BREAKER 1.0 (PC, Xbox Series X|S). Stubby Games’ bullet-hell roguelite shooter leaves Steam Early Access with its 1.0 release on Wednesday and lands on Game Pass the same day at $29.99. A hostile AI restarts the same run until you break the system.

Outbreak: Dead City (PC, Xbox Series X|S). Eastasiasoft’s low-poly cinematic zombie shooter arrives on Wednesday, with you on a H.A.D.E.S. special forces team hunting a vaccine. Steam has no purchase box yet.

SUPER GAHAKU (PC). North Fox Games’ party game asks you to draw in 3D space and then guess what everybody else was drawing. A small PC-only launch, but the premise deserves a look with a group and a spare evening.

Football Manager 27 early access (PC). The management sim opens its PC early access on Wednesday for pre-orders on PC, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, ahead of the full launch on November 10. Our FM27 hub tracks the dates.

Thursday, November 5

Thursday is the crowded day, with seven launches and the week’s two priciest tickets.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Switch 2, $59.99). Nintendo’s remake of the Nintendo 64 classic arrives on Switch 2 on Thursday, and the eShop lists the date without a launch hour. Nintendo calls it the classic reborn exclusively for Switch 2, with Link and Navi. Our release-time guide has the per-region picture.

PAYDAY: Aces High (Meta Quest, PC VR, Steam Frame, $24.99). Fast Travel Games’ four-player VR heist arrives Thursday on Quest, Steam VR and Valve’s Steam Frame, with Steam’s countdown pointing at 14:00 UTC. There is no flat-screen version, and owners of PAYDAY 1, 2 and 3 get 10% off on Steam through December 31. Our release-time guide has every time zone.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC). Coin Crew Games’ puzzle sequel puts you on an explorable campus of escape rooms with local and online co-op, and it is a Game Pass day-one drop. Steam has no purchase box yet.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition (Switch 2, $35.99). The Switch 2 edition adds 1980s glam rock outfits for Star-Lord, Drax, Gamora, Rocket and Groot. At $35.99 it is the cheapest door into the Guardians.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition (Switch 2, $59.99). SHIFT UP’s EVE returns to Switch 2 in a Complete Edition that folds in the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC content, with pre-order cosmetics for EVE on the Nintendo store page.

Where the Seeds Fall (PS5, Switch 2, PC). Cygames’ action-adventure, where a blight has pushed humanity up into the branches of the World Tree, launches on Thursday. Steam has no purchase box yet.

Re-Volt (Switch, PS5). The 1999 RC car racer finally reaches modern home consoles on Thursday, with H2 Interactive adding in-game help, a minimap, three pick-ups and four-player split-screen. H2 has not announced a digital price, and the physical H2 Edition is a Switch box with a metal slipcase and two soundtrack CDs. Our story has the details.

Friday, November 6

Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor (PC). Stormfront Studios’ Forgotten Realms party RPG, published by SNEG, arrives on Steam on Friday, with turn-based battles against a dracolich in the haunted elven ruins of Myth Drannor. The price is not published yet.

Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8

We could not confirm a major multiplatform launch for the 7th or the 8th, so the weekend is a breather. The next large launch after this one is Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19.

Our pick of the week

World of Warcraft: Forever takes it, and the reason is simple: it is the only launch this week that rearranges how thousands of people spend their evenings. Blizzard built it as a third branch of the franchise, sitting alongside the modern and Classic versions of World of Warcraft, with a new race, more than 1,000 quests, new class and race combinations, and controller support for the first time. Blizzard’s WoW executive producer Holly Longdale said controller support is the first step toward playing on more devices, naming Microsoft’s Project Helix in an interview Eurogamer reported: “Play it wherever you want and, at some point, on whatever you want.” The catch is in the fine print our hub tracks: the Skyborne race is a paid pack, and playing past your included Game Time still needs a subscription.

Second pick is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, because $59.99 for a remake of a Nintendo 64 classic is the number that decides how many people buy it. Nintendo’s store page shows no launch hour, so the one thing you cannot plan around is the clock. Everything else in the package, from Link and Navi to the rebuilt Hyrule, is why this is the week’s headline for anyone who owns a Switch 2.

Two things decide this week for most wallets. First, subscription access: GRAVHOUNDS, PIT OF GOBLIN, VOID/BREAKER and Escape Academy 2 all join Game Pass on their launch days, so four releases cost subscribers nothing extra. Second, the split between priced games and unpriced ones. We counted 17 releases between November 2 and November 8 across Nintendo’s eShop, Xbox Wire’s Next Week on XBOX column and Steam’s store pages. Seven have no published price, and H2 has not set one for Re-Volt either, which usually means the stores are still deciding. The rest of the calendar belongs to Nintendo, with four Switch 2 releases on Thursday, three priced between $35.99 and $59.99, and no PC version of the Zelda remake at all. For everything else, see the full release calendar.
