CRYMELIGHT is a single-player roguelike action game from Japanese publisher Furyu. It launches on November 4, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC. Furyu’s official site lists the release date as November 5, 2026 (JST), which is the same launch moment in every region. It gives the format as roguelike action for one player, with a 20 to 30 hour playthrough. CRYMELIGHT is the third game in Furyu’s “CRY” line after Crystar and Crymachina. It is the first of them to ship in English on day one.
The story is why it is not another Hades clone. Wonderland is a prison for the souls of the dead. Alice wakes with no memory of her own life, and the only way to earn her freedom is to defeat the Queen. Furyu puts the design in one line: the more the characters repent, the stronger they grow.

How a run works
Three systems overlap, and our beginner’s guide has the details for the first hour.
- Poker System: collect five skill cards and form poker hands to turn them into power.
- Wonder Dimension: an indigo overlay spreads across the field as you kill enemies, and it makes you stronger the more you take down.
- Repentance System: confess the sins you collected at the confessional between stages. They become permanent upgrades, so a bad run still pays.
Who pays what
| If you | Buy | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Want the cheapest way in | Standard Edition | The game itself, plus the store’s pre-order accessory |
| Want the extra material | Deluxe Edition | Adds a digital special album with a preview video, special soundtrack and special voice drama |
| Play on PC | Wait for the Steam price | Steam has the store page and the demo, but no purchase box yet |
| Own a Steam Deck | Wait for a rating | Valve has published no compatibility verdict |
| Play in Chinese or Korean | Steam | Furyu lists those languages as Steam only |
The numbers that decide whether this is worth your money are all on the store pages. For example, the free Steam demo (appid 4864600) runs the same Windows-only build as the full game, so it is a fair test before November 4. The Nintendo eShop has the Standard at $17.99 while PlayStation has it at $19.99, and that $2 gap is a pre-order sale, not a permanent price difference. Steam is the outlier: it has the demo and the page, but no price and no purchase box. For Steam Deck owners, Valve’s compatibility endpoint returns no rating at all for the full game, so assume unsupported until the launch patch says otherwise.
What this means for you
CRYMELIGHT is a 20 to 30 hour story-led roguelike with full English text on day one, and it is cheaper on the Nintendo eShop than on PlayStation right now. PC players can play the free demo today and wait for Steam to publish a price. Deck owners should treat the Steam Deck version as unsupported until Valve says otherwise. Nobody needs to buy a console for it. For the money side, the editions guide compares every store price, and the release time page has the unlock hour for every zone.
