PAYDAY: Aces High Release Date Set for November 5 at $25

PAYDAY: Aces High launches November 5 on Meta Quest, PC VR headsets, and Valve’s Steam Frame for $25, developer Fast Travel Games confirmed today. The four-player co-op heist game is set in the PAYDAY universe and is now available to wishlist on both Steam and the Meta Quest Store.

Like other PAYDAY games, Aces High puts four players through bank, museum, and luxury penthouse jobs, with customizable weapons, gadgets, and special skills to tailor each crew’s approach. The Steam release includes both a PC VR build and a native Steam Frame version for standalone play.

A final playtest is live from today through October 26. Players can join on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest, or on Quest 3 and Quest 3S, and anyone who takes part will receive an exclusive Kitty Mask in the full release.

A release date trailer is up on the official PAYDAY YouTube channel (embedded below). The game does not yet have a confirmed release for PlayStation VR2.

For a $25 price tag and a four-player cap, Aces High sits at the cheaper, smaller end of the modern PAYDAY family: PAYDAY 2’s heists scale to four players and PAYDAY 3 launched at $39.99, while the original VR work-alike Apex Construct from the same studio sold for $24.99. The Steam Frame angle is the new wrinkle: a standalone release on Valve’s headset means owners won’t need a tethered PC, which mirrors how Quest has been the dominant VR spinoff platform for the last several years. Players who don’t own a VR headset can still try the Steam demo during the Next Fest playtest window before deciding on hardware.
