Farming Simulator 25: Beans & Alpacas unlocks on Steam at 9:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. That is 6:00 a.m. on the US West Coast, 1:00 p.m. UK time, 2:00 p.m. in Central Europe and 10:00 p.m. in Tokyo. GIANTS Software has confirmed the October 27 date in its own announcements, and the hour comes from the expansion’s own Steam store page.
For example, a London player gets the expansion at 1:00 p.m. UK time on the 27th, and a Sydney player gets it at midnight on October 28.
The expansion is DLC for Farming Simulator 25, so the base game has to be in your library first. It costs $29.99 on Steam, with a 10% pre-launch discount taking it to $26.99 at checkout. Farming Simulator 25 itself is $29.99 on Steam.
Catuaà is the new region: coffee plantations on the hillsides, red iron-oxide soil, dense Atlantic rainforest and a winding river that connects farms, production sites and a village lined with stilt houses. GIANTS describes the map as inspired by the rural landscapes of Brazil. Coffee beans are a new crop, and the map has a dry season and a rainy season, with puddles on the roads and darker red soil when the rain comes.
The livestock is the headline for a lot of players: alpacas and Brahman cows join the pastures. You shear alpacas for fleece to process into wool and lead them on a leash to raise their happiness. The October 20 patch notes already add animal workers who handle leading and shearing for you. New production chains run through a spinnery and a paint factory, more than 25 new machines arrive, and the expansion adds a record number of buildings and decorations, including six houses with full interiors.
GIANTS has published machine fact sheets every Friday since October 2, and its October 21 map preview ended with a plain instruction: pre-order now, out on October 27. The official expansion page on Steam carries the launch timestamp, and it is the page to watch if GIANTS moves the hour. You can see the date on our release calendar. Paid expansions get their own launch moment on our site: we covered Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen and Risk of Rain 2’s Hallowed Concepts the same way.
This is a paid content drop for a game that has been out since November 2024, so the launch-hour question is simpler than a new release’s: one unlock moment on Steam, and the expansion becomes buyable at it. The 10% discount is the only price signal on the table, and the rest of the launch detail sits in GIANTS’ own weekly posts rather than in a trailer.
