Tetsukaijosai no Haika Releases December 18, No English Version Announced

Tetsukaijosai no Haika (鉄廻城砦の灰花) launches December 18, 2026 on PC, and the announcement Visual Arts’ new VISUAL ARTS Scripts label made on October 23, 2026 lists no English version, no console port and no Western release date. Automaton has the release details: a ¥1,200 download on DLsite and DMM GAMES, with a first-press physical package at ¥5,280 that adds a materials book, the soundtrack and newly drawn mini shikishi. The announcement itself sits on the official site.

The game takes place in the 2400s, a hundred years after a catastrophe left an illegally expanded fortress-city abandoned and maze-like. Tetsukaijosai is the name of that complex, and the story follows Yūma Kuze, an archaeologist who works for himself. He recovers and sells relics while saving up for the residency rights to the island he lives on. A job from the Fujinami chemical company puts him inside the ruins, where he runs into Haika, a wary girl hunting what she calls treasure to die for. The game is billed as an all-ages novel game with full voice acting, with illustrations by chibi and a script that is the brand’s first, written by the light novel author 道具小路.

The price point is the part worth reading twice. The label opened with its first game, Sayagatari, on September 25 at ¥990 to introduce itself, so December’s release is its second game and sits in the same price band. Cheap digital pricing and a collector’s package point at a budget line rather than a showcase.

Two games twelve weeks apart at roughly ¥1,000 each reads as a deliberate strategy rather than an accident: a new label, cheap digital pricing, a collector’s package. What the price cannot tell you is whether these games ever reach an English store, and our Coming West tracker is blunt about that. It now holds 42 Japan-first games, and 15 of them have no Western release announced at all. Edia’s Switch otome PROJECT SIGN: Astraea is on that list too, and it now has a March 25, 2027 launch date. The one thing that would change that count is an English script funded by Visual Arts, or a Western publisher picking up one of these titles. Neither has happened, so the tracker entry is where it will show up first.

Can you play it in English?

Not today, and nothing has been announced. The release details cover PC only, sold through DLsite and DMM GAMES, with no English language option, no console version and no Western release date attached to them. Because this is a PC download there is no disc or account region to sort out, but the text, the voice work and the store pages will all be in Japanese. Visual Arts has not said when or if an English version is planned, so treat December 18 as a Japan-only release for now. We have added it to our Coming West tracker so you can see it the moment that changes.
