AVA RE:BIRTH launches October 28, 2026 at 5 PM Japan time (3 AM Central, 4 AM Eastern) and the game it replaces shuts down that same day. Publisher G·O·P announced the schedule on October 23, with the PC client opening for pre-download at 5 PM JST that afternoon. Pre-download runs until noon JST on October 27, and pre-registration closes at noon on October 26. The game is free to play with item sales through the Pmang launcher and VALOFE’s VFUN platform, AUTOMATON reports.

G·O·P says pre-registrations have passed 300,000 worldwide, and everyone gets the 300,000 milestone reward at launch. At 500,000, the reward list adds a grenade the original AVA players knew as the “Bad Potato.” Pre-registrants also get a title built on the AVA logo that nobody else can unlock.

Day one brings a marketplace where players sell items to each other, a Battle Pass that pays for playing, and pre-registration items, in-game currency and that title. The feature to try first is Hunting Field, a map area where matches turn into an extraction shooter: AUTOMATON says it runs across city and desert maps, and you fight AI soldiers and other players for materials and gear before getting out alive. Elsewhere the mode list runs from AI missions you can finish alone to battles with up to 16 players. Weapons are upgraded with materials picked up in matches through “enhancement” and “synthesis” instead of being bought outright, and three classes, Pointman, Rifleman and Sniper, cover mid-range, close and long range. The official site sells it as the return of a global hit that “captivated over 10 million players,” and the build comes out of the closed beta we covered in October.

The roadmap may matter more than the date. G·O·P’s winter plan runs in four stages. The first opens an event shop where event currency trades for guns you cannot get anywhere else. The second adds clans, with creation, joining and a clan room, plus tournaments. The third brings the cost system to every mode except Hunting Field and adds clan wars: every weapon and piece of armor carries a cost, and your loadout has a ceiling on the total. G·O·P says the ceiling exists to cut down matches decided by gear strength alone. The fourth stage retunes those costs once players have been fighting with them. Clan events, cost-system events and Christmas and New Year season events are planned too.

Can you play it in English?

The official site publishes AVA RE:BIRTH in English alongside Japanese, Korean and other languages, and the publisher runs a separate English-language account on X, so English is being marketed somewhere. It is PC-only through Pmang and VFUN, there is no Steam store page, and sign-ups are blocked in certain countries and regions. No Western release and no console version is announced, which is why the game sits in the Japan-only column of our Coming West tracker.

Two numbers frame the launch. Pre-registrations sit at 300,000 worldwide with the next reward at 500,000, and sign-ups close on October 26, so that countdown is short. The cost cap and the extraction map are the systems worth watching on day one. A loadout ceiling in every mode except the PvPvE one means gear stops deciding the fights longtime AVA players already know, and the map where the cap does not apply is where risk is meant to pay. The fourth winter stage exists to retune those costs once matches are being played, so the balance will move inside the first month.
