Phantom Blade Zero sold more than 4 million copies across all platforms in its first 72 hours, S-GAME announced on the game’s official account. The studio’s graphic reads “4,000,000+ copies sold across all platforms in 72 hours” and pairs the milestone with early player scores such as 8.8 on PC and 9.3 on PlayStation 5.

The same graphic lists Steam reviews at 89% positive and a 4.71 out of 5 on the PlayStation Store. It gives no platform breakdown, so the split between PC and console copies is still unknown.

S-GAME’s launch notice put the release at 7 p.m. PDT on October 28, 2026 (02:00 UTC on October 29), so the 72-hour window covered the opening days. Our release-time page has the hour in every time zone.

We sample Steam’s official player API every hour, and we analyzed S-GAME’s announcement graphic and its launch notice against our hourly Steam player data tracked by Pixel Herald, which shows a tracked peak of 831,399 concurrent players for the game. That peak and the sales figure answer different questions: concurrent player count means everyone playing on Steam at the same moment, not copies sold.

S-GAME counted PC and PlayStation 5 together, so the platform split is the number to watch next. The studio has not said when it will share one, or when the next sales milestone is due.
