North Fox Games, a two-person indie team based in Hokkaido, has locked the release date for Super Gaohaku (Japanese: スーパー画伯), its 3D drawing party game: November 4, 2026 at 18:00 JST (09:00 UTC), exclusively on Steam. The date was first reported by Denfaminicogamer and confirmed by the studio’s @NorthFox_Games X account on October 18.
Up to eight players stack 3D pieces to sculpt a given topic. “Cat” is the easy example; “a gorilla that slipped on a banana peel” is the harder one. Then everyone tries to guess what the other players made. Three modes are planned: a 2-player-minimum Build & Guess with co-op and competitive rules, a 3-player-plus Drawing Imposter social-deduction mode where one player is faking, and a single-player-friendly Free Build with no timer. Multiplayer uses Steam Friends or shared room codes, with no random matchmaking.
The game runs in Unreal Engine 5. A free Steam demo is live now through October 27 02:00 JST as part of Steam Next Fest, and the full game follows a week later. The studio has not announced a price for the full release.
Can you play it in English?
Yes. The official Steam page is in English and lists English alongside Japanese, so Western players can add the game to their wishlist and play the demo today. The full game ships worldwide from the same page on November 4, with no separate Western release and no region lock. A US or UK price has not been announced yet, but the page is in English by default, so the store should inherit a USD/EUR/GBP price through Steam’s regional pricing at launch. The game is PC-only: no console ports have been announced.
