Phantom Blade Zero is out now. S-GAME’s wuxia action RPG launched on PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store at 02:00 UTC on October 29, 2026, which was 7 p.m. Pacific on October 28 in the US. The Standard edition costs $59.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $69.99. There is no Xbox version and no disc.
You play Soul, a warrior with sixty-six days to live after a wound to the heart, hunting the assassins who framed him and the conspiracy behind it. The Steam page calls the game “a fusion of classic Wuxia storytelling and exhilarating action powered by Unreal Engine 5”. It lists it as a single-player Action and RPG with Steam Cloud and full controller support.

What S-GAME has confirmed
- Difficulty modes. Sony’s State of Play recap names three of them. Wayfarer is the mode Sony recommends for players who mainly want the story. Hellwalker brings “more advanced and adaptive enemy intelligence”, and Sixty-Six Days is for players who want the 66-day clock to bite. Gamereactor’s report of the same presentation gave the standard mode its name, Pathbreaker.
- Editions. Digital Deluxe Edition is the $69.99 package that adds two outfits for Soul, a digital artbook and the soundtrack. It does not unlock early, and neither edition includes a disc. Our editions guide has the full comparison.
- PC requirements. The Steam page asks for 145 GB on an SSD. Our specs guide has the file size and preload details.
- Sales. S-GAME says the game sold more than 4 million copies across all platforms in its first 72 hours, with no split between PC and console. Our story has the announcement and the numbers behind it.
- Subscriptions. The game did not arrive on Game Pass or in the PS Plus catalog on launch day, and there is no Xbox version to put on Game Pass.
- Saves. Cross-save is the feature that carries one save between two different platforms. S-GAME has not announced it for Phantom Blade Zero, so a PlayStation save and a PC save stay separate.
What this means for you
This is a 66-day solo run with no multiplayer, no cross-save and no subscription route. The only two decisions that matter are which machine you play it on and which edition you buy. Most players should take the $59.99 Standard edition, because nothing in the Deluxe pack changes the fight. If you already own Standard and want the artbook and the soundtrack, the Digital Deluxe upgrade is sold separately on Steam. Steam and Epic saves stay in their own ecosystems, so buy on the system you will actually use.
We track Steam’s player counts for this game every hour, and the peak we recorded is 831,399 concurrent players, a number a new action RPG rarely reaches. S-GAME’s 4-million-copies claim counts PlayStation and PC together and publishes no platform split. The honest read is that the PC audience alone is large and still settling, not finished. The 145 GB SSD install and a 1080p/30 minimum are the numbers that should shape your next hardware upgrade.
