Football Manager 27 launches globally on November 10, 2026, and the spec sheet on its Steam store page is the one Sports Interactive has published so far. It is a forgiving list. The oldest processor in the minimum line is an Intel Core i3-530, and the graphics floor is a card from 2016. Steam now lists the game at $59.99 with a 10% launch discount, so the checkout price is $53.99. The sheet still carries no Steam Deck rating. SI says in its own platform FAQ that the footage it has shown comes from a development build, and that “polish and optimisation will continue to take place before launch”.

What are the Football Manager 27 system requirements?

Two numbers decide most of this table: the 1 GiB of VRAM at the floor and the 2 GiB on the recommended card. VRAM is the memory a graphics card uses for textures and frames, and it sets the ceiling on how much the screen can hold at once. The RAM line moves with it, from 6 GB to 12 GB. The processor requirement is the part most people read past, because SI lists a requirement for SSE4.2 and SSSE3 under the minimum. A 64-bit chip without those instruction sets is out regardless of its clock speed.

Can my laptop run Football Manager 27?

Steam keeps a separate laptop line, and it is the tougher of the two on older machines. Is Football Manager 27 on Steam Deck?

Not yet, at least not officially. Valve’s compatibility report for FM27 on Steam comes back with no resolved category, which is what the endpoint returns for a game it has not rated, and the store page carries no Deck badge.

What Steam does publish is controller support. Full controller support, DualSense and DualShock support, adjustable text size, save anytime, play at your own pace and Steam Cloud are all in the store’s feature list. SI’s own FM27 site labels the release “FM27 Made with Unity”, the engine many handheld-friendly games are built on. Neither of those is a rating, and SI’s FAQ says the interface and performance work continues until launch.

Handheld owners have a different route, and it does not run through Steam. SI says FM27 (PC/Mac) launches on Steam, Epic Games Store and the Xbox PC app, “including being available on Xbox handheld devices”. The Xbox handheld can therefore run the PC build through the Xbox app on day one, which is a separate question from the Deck rating and depends on the app supporting the game when it lands.
