Tomb Raider turned 30 on October 24, 2026, and Crystal Dynamics spent the weekend putting the franchise back in front of players. A new Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis sneak peek landed on the official Tomb Raider YouTube channel, the studio published a free lo-fi remix album made for the anniversary, and it says more than 500 soundtrack tracks are expected on streaming services in November.

Legacy of Atlantis is the studio’s reimagining of the 1996 game, and it launches February 12, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2.

What Crystal Dynamics put out When it lands
Legacy of Atlantis sneak peek On the official YouTube channel now
30th Anniversary Lo-Fi Collection Free on YouTube now, more streaming services to follow
500-plus official soundtrack tracks Streaming services in November

The sneak peek is the clip with game in it. The channel’s own description says the team revealed it at TR30 in Derby and at MCM London, and that the video contains teases of iconic content. TR30 is the studio’s shorthand for its 30th anniversary event in Derby, the city where the series began. Steam lists the game at $59.99 with no discount, and the official pre-order notice covers physical editions, including a Collector’s Edition, for select retailers. Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders had not opened when that notice went out. That February date is now on our release calendar, and the game’s price and platform list live on our Legacy of Atlantis page.

The anniversary package is the interesting part, not the teaser. A free lo-fi album built out of three decades of Lara Croft themes, plus 500-plus soundtrack tracks arriving on streaming services in November, is the sort of thing a publisher does once, and it gives fans something to listen to while they wait for the reimagined first game to arrive.

The album, called Tomb Raider: 30th Anniversary Lo-Fi Collection, was made with That Norsk Chick, the longtime community musician behind the remix, and the artist Tholia. For example, it runs from Lara’s career in the classic games through Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Voice samples come from Alix Wilton Regan, the actress playing Lara Croft in Legacy of Atlantis. The studio’s post says the collection was first shown during the TR30 Tomb Raider Day celebration in Derby, and it is free on the Tomb Raider YouTube channel now, with more streaming services to follow.

The soundtrack push is the bigger half of the announcement. Crystal Dynamics says it is working with Harry Hinds, who runs the Music of Tomb Raider archive, to prepare more than 500 official tracks for streaming services this November, including special compilations and albums that have never been released before. The studio’s team was in Derby for the annual event and has promised a TR30 Derby recap.
