Enshrouded Editions Compared: Standard vs Deluxe, and Which One to Buy

Quick answer

Trailer Enshrouded - Launch Trailer | PS5 Games · Video: PlayStation
  • Standard Edition: $39.99. Deluxe Edition: $49.99 on PlayStation, $49.98 on Steam.
  • The extra $10 buys three exclusive class outfit packs, a digital artbook and a printable high-resolution map of Embervale. On PS5 the bundle also carries the Original Soundtrack; on Steam that soundtrack is a separate $7.99 purchase.
  • Steam is running a 10% launch discount right now: $35.99 for Standard and $45.98 for the Deluxe bundle. PlayStation Plus members pay $35.99 and $44.99 on PS5 until October 29.
  • Buy Standard unless the map and the soundtrack matter to you. Everything in the Deluxe is cosmetic or a download, and neither edition adds gameplay.

Enshrouded 1.0 left Steam Early Access on October 15, 2026 and landed on PlayStation 5 the same day, according to Keen Games’ launch announcement. Embervale is the kingdom the game takes place in, and Early Access is the phase where a studio sells a game while it is still being built. Both stores sell it in two editions, and the gap between them is about ten dollars.

What are the Enshrouded editions?

There are two, and the PlayStation Store listing and the Steam store page list the same extras for each one.

What you get Standard Edition Deluxe Edition
Price on Steam $39.99 (10% off, $35.99 today) $49.98 (8% off, $45.98 today)
Price on PS5 $39.99 ($35.99 for PS Plus members) $49.99 ($44.99 for PS Plus members)
Class outfit packs None 3 exclusive packs
Digital artbook No Yes
Embervale high-res printable map No Yes
Original Soundtrack Not included ($7.99 on Steam) Included on PS5
Extra gameplay content None None

What’s in the Deluxe Edition?

Keen Games lists the same four things on both stores: the base game, three exclusive class outfit packs, a digital artbook and a high-resolution printable map of Embervale. PlayStation’s listing adds the Original Soundtrack. Two of those extras are files rather than in-game content, such as the artbook and the printable map. Steam sells that soundtrack on its own for $7.99, which is why the two Deluxe editions aren’t quite the same bundle.

The three outfit packs cover the character classes in cosmetics only, and the artbook and map are downloads to keep. None of it touches the campaign, the world or the endgame. There are no extra missions, no story expansion and no new systems in either edition, so the choice is about what your character looks like, not how long you play.

How much does Enshrouded cost right now?

On Steam the store page is running a 10% launch discount, which puts the Standard Edition at $35.99 and the Deluxe Edition bundle at $45.98. On PlayStation the Standard Edition is $39.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $49.99. The store is advertising “Save 10% with PlayStation Plus,” which takes those to $35.99 and $44.99 for members. That member offer runs until October 29, 2026 at 15:00 UTC, according to the listing’s own offer terms. Prices here are the US store prices; other regions differ.

Can you upgrade to the Deluxe edition later?

Yes on PC. Steam sells a separate Enshrouded Deluxe Upgrade Pack for $9.99, and it carries the same three extras: the class outfit packs, the artbook and the printable map. PlayStation lists a Deluxe Upgrade Pack product too, but its US page shows no purchasable price today, so on console the Deluxe is the edition you pick at checkout.

Is there a physical copy of Enshrouded?

No. Enshrouded 1.0 is a download on Steam and on the PlayStation Store, and there is no disc edition listed on either. That is the whole answer for anyone hoping for a box.

Is Enshrouded on Game Pass or PS Plus?

Not on Game Pass, because there is no Xbox version to buy. Keen Games’ own 1.0 release date announcement says the Xbox Series X|S edition remains in development, and Enshrouded sits in neither the Xbox Store nor the Game Pass catalog.

Not in the PS Plus catalog either, at least not at launch. The PlayStation Store is advertising the standard 10% member discount on the launch editions rather than a day-one PS Plus Extra or Premium inclusion, and Keen Games hasn’t announced one. The platform differences that do exist are covered in our Enshrouded crossplay guide: PC and PS5 players live in separate worlds, with no crossplay or cross-progression between them.

Which Enshrouded edition should you buy?

  • Buy Standard if you want the game and nothing else. $39.99 is the price Keen Games built the launch around, and the extras never change how the game plays.
  • Buy the Deluxe on PS5 if you want the soundtrack and the printable map in one purchase. On PlayStation that is $49.99 with everything in it; on Steam the same content runs $45.98 plus $7.99 for the soundtrack.
  • Buy the Deluxe on Steam if you already own Enshrouded and like class outfit cosmetics. The upgrade pack is $9.99 for current owners.
  • Wait on PS5 if you have PS Plus. The 10% member discount runs to October 29, which takes $4.99 off the Standard Edition and $5.00 off the Deluxe.

We analyzed the Steam and PlayStation Store listings for Enshrouded side by side on October 25, 2026, and the Deluxe Edition is priced differently on each platform. PlayStation’s $49.99 Deluxe includes the Original Soundtrack, while the Steam bundle at $49.98 leaves that soundtrack as a separate $7.99 purchase, so PC players who want the album pay $53.97 for identical content. Buying Standard on Steam today at $35.99 is the cheapest way into Enshrouded at all. The ten-dollar gap buys a map, an artbook and some outfits, so the case for the Deluxe rests entirely on the soundtrack and the cosmetics. PlayStation’s $49.99 Deluxe includes the Original Soundtrack; the Steam equivalent is $45.98 with the soundtrack still sitting separately at $7.99, so PC players who want the album pay $53.97 for identical content. Buying Standard on Steam today at $35.99 is the cheapest way into Enshrouded at all, and the launch discount keeps it there for now. The ten-dollar gap buys a map, an artbook and some outfits, so the case for the Deluxe rests entirely on the soundtrack and the cosmetics.

Enshrouded 1.0 launched on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 15, 2026, with both versions unlocking at 15:00 UTC. Our release time guide has the full table. Since then the 1.0 build has taken Enshrouded to a 113,542 concurrent-player Steam peak, according to our own player-count data. The Enshrouded game page keeps the store links and platform list in one place.
