Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos unlocks on PC at 16:00 UTC on Thursday, October 29, 2026. That is 9 a.m. PDT, noon EDT, 4 p.m. GMT in the UK, 5 p.m. CET in Central Europe and 1 a.m. JST in Tokyo on October 30. The moment comes from the Steam store’s own release timestamp for the remaster.

Argonaut Games dated the launch October 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S as well. Its announcement gives no separate console clock time, so the confirmed hour here is the PC one.

Argonaut announced the date on October 23, when it said development on the remaster was complete and sent review copies to outlets. “Players now have a date for their next adventure with Croc, October 29,” said co-CEO Mike Arkin. The remaster restores the name the game carried during development, Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos; the original Croc 2 arrived in 1999. Croc’s trip to the mainland to look for his long-lost parents becomes a showdown once Baron Dante is resurrected by the Dantinis. It plays across more than 40 open-ended levels and four villages, with Guardians such as Soveena the Squid and Croc’s old moves back with a triple jump added. He rides minecarts, races cars and speedboats, catches air on a hang glider and flies a wooden airplane. The Croc2pedia is an in-game digital museum that collects never-before-seen development material, cut content and a 90-minute Croc2mentary interview feature with the original and remaster teams.

Steam has no price for the game yet, and Argonaut says details on physical editions will come later this year. Switch wishlisting is not live yet either: Argonaut sends players to its own page to leave an email address, so they know when the Switch list opens. Croctober is Argonaut’s month-long run of Croc news and surprises, and it started on October 1. For example, Steam wishlisting is already open for the remaster, and Argonaut’s email list is the only route to Switch wishlisting when it opens.

The PC unlock is one worldwide moment, so nobody waits for a region to roll over. What is missing is a console hour: Argonaut dated October 29 for PlayStation, Xbox and Switch but published no clock time for them, and until a store lists one, Steam’s countdown is the only number worth trusting. That makes wishlisting a two-minute job today for anyone who wants the PC build on launch morning.
