AION 2‘s hardest fight is coming back. NC says Ludra returns to the MMORPG on November 4, 2026, with new mechanics, and that normal mode opens to players at 2,800 item level and hard mode at 3,000.
The raid was pulled from the game’s early access launch after players beat it below the intended level of progression, and NC stripped the gear rewards earned, PCGamesN reported. This time it is a rebuild, not a repeat.
The Ludra Conquest check-in opens at 6 AM PST on November 4 and runs to November 17, with seven daily rewards ending in the Lush Leaf Tiara helmet. Double Odyle Energy lands in the mail from October 28 to November 10, and Twitch Drops run for up to 14 hours of AION 2 streams.
The Ludra Hunt is the leaderboard part. The first 20 parties to kill Ludra on hard mode in each region earn a title: Conqueror of Ludra for the first party, Champion of Ludra for the second through fifth, and Challenger of Ludra for the sixth through twentieth. Everyone else who clears either mode gets Ludra Hunter. A Daeva Bootcamp counts dungeon clears from 500,000 to 7,000,000 and mails rewards to every player.
NC has not shown the new mechanics and gave no clock time for the fight itself, only that it returns after maintenance on November 4. With 400,000 players on AION 2 already, the rework has an audience that will notice if it feels the same.
