Conan Exiles Enhanced Is Free on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Early 2027

Conan Exiles Enhanced is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027, and it is a free upgrade for people who already own the game on PS4 or Xbox One. Funcom announced it today with an announcement trailer on PlayStation’s channel. No exact release date has been given.

Per Funcom, buying either version of the game gives you access to both Enhanced and Legacy. Enhanced has already been out on Steam as a free update since May 2026.

Funcom lists visual upgrades to environments, characters, lighting and effects, a redesigned UI, performance improvements and quality-of-life changes. The Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah expansion are merged into one experience, though Siptah remains sold separately. Full cross-play is planned to arrive soon after launch.

Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC and Twitch Drops carry over. Official Exiled Lands servers update to Enhanced with characters and bases intact, but Isle of Siptah bases cannot be preserved. Single-player saves move to Enhanced and can no longer be opened in Legacy afterward.

Legacy gets only critical bug fixes, with no major new content, no Bazaar and no official servers. Once Enhanced launches, Crom Coins will not work on Legacy because the Bazaar is disabled there.

The practical decision for console owners is whether to move their base at all. Siptah bases cannot be preserved. Single-player saves cannot be opened in Legacy afterward. For example, anyone with a Siptah build should treat the switch as one-way and wait for the exact date and migration steps. Everyone else gets a free move to the version that will keep receiving content, while Legacy is left with critical fixes only and no official servers. More on the game is on our Conan Exiles page.

Funcom also announced that Aloft arrives on PS5 in early 2027, per the PlayStation Blog.
