The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Ova Magica originally released on Steam on May 28, 2026.

In Ova Magica, players start a new life on an overgrown farm in the peaceful countryside. Blending traditional farm and social sim elements with creature-collecting JRPG gameplay, the game lets players raise and breed adorable blobs that can lend a hand around the farm, join expeditions, and battle alongside them.

Beyond the farm, Clover Town is home to a colorful cast of characters with their own stories. Players can build friendships, find romance, and take part in seasonal festivals. For adventure, procedurally generated worlds offer new blobs, hidden treasures, and rare rewards.

Review embargo ends November 10 at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 13:00 UTC. Store pages are live: Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox.

A multi-platform console launch five months after PC is a healthy port window — long enough to fix PC launch issues, short enough to ride the same marketing wave. The Switch 2 day-one support is notable; many indie ports skip Nintendo’s next-gen hardware at launch. Top Hat Studios has built a reputation for thorough console ports (Wildermyth, Boomerang Fu), so the simultaneous five-platform release suggests solid optimization work.

Which platform will you pick up Ova Magica on: Switch 2 for handheld blob-raising, PS5 for the big screen, or Steam Deck via the existing PC version?
