Jin Sakai, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima, is now playable in Ghost of Yōtei’s new Most Wanted mode, Sucker Punch announced today via the PlayStation Blog. Most Wanted is a class-based roguelike combat mode introduced with the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, and Jin’s return required adapting over 60 attack animations, custom strafe animations for each stance, and a rebuilt audio suite including a new lap-steel version of his musical theme. Voice actor Daisuke Tsuji also returned to record new lines. The update is live now on PS5 with patch v2.0 or later, requiring an internet connection and PlayStation account. No Western release date for Ghost of Yōtei itself has been announced; the game remains a Japan-only release for now.
