Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold now launches on February 23, 2027, and early access opens Friday, February 19, 2027. Square Enix has moved its next MMORPG expansion past the January 2027 window it announced in April.

Pre-orders start Wednesday, November 4. The expansion is priced at $44.99 for the Standard Edition, $64.99 for the Digital Collector’s Edition and $319.99 for the Collector’s Bundle, which the Square Enix Store sells with a physical Collector’s Box. It arrives on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Windows, Mac and Steam.

Early access is a pre-order perk: Square Enix says you need to have registered Dawntrail and completed certain quests to play Evercold content during the early-access period, and Collector’s Edition in-game items land in your moogle letter once it opens.

The expansion raises the level cap from 100 to 110 and adds two jobs. Bastion is a main tank that fights with a skyltborg, while Zephyr is a ranged damage dealer with a crossbow and an avian familiar. Also on the list are a new alliance raid series built around an Evangelion crossover, a second raid series called Beyond the Lifestream, and an eight-player Fierce difficulty tier that slots between Normal and Savage.

Square Enix has not published a launch hour for February 23.
