AION 2 has passed 400,000 concurrent players, NC announced on October 23, 18 days after the MMORPG’s global launch. The publisher also logged 108.2 million hours in its fantasy world of Atreia during that run, the equivalent of more than 6,000 in-game years.

The open-world MMORPG began its Steam Early Access on September 30 and launched publicly on Steam and NC’s PURPLE platform on October 5. According to NC’s launch infographic, players created more than 6.3 million characters, cleared 53.2 million dungeon instances and recorded 26.4 million PvP kills.

NC also says AION 2 generated 35.6 million hours watched on Twitch since Early Access began. Steam Charts placed it fourth for most-watched games on the platform from October 5 to October 12.

Our Steam player data tracked by Pixel Herald recorded a 306,966-player 24-hour peak for AION 2 in the week ending October 19, as the launch surge eased, according to our Steam Charts report. NC’s announcement does not provide a platform-by-platform split for its 400,000-player figure.
