Curve Games and developer Coyote House Games will release Dumpster Gang on December 3, 2026 for PC via Steam, Xbox on PC, and Xbox PC Game Pass, the publishers confirmed Monday. A free demo of the tutorial and the first two missions is playable right now as part of Steam Next Fest.

The 1-4 player chaotic co-op sandbox puts players in control of mischievous raccoons scavenging dumpsters, stealing junk, raiding snacks, and making a nuisance of themselves in suburban homes and farms. Cause enough chaos and John the Exterminator rolls up in his van to hunt the gang down. Raccoons have to outsmart his traps, free captured teammates, and make it home before they end up behind bars.

Curve Games is a London-based publisher whose recent catalog includes For The King, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and the 60-million-selling Human Fall Flat. The full release will add hideout customization, unlockable hats with unique abilities, and “dynamic sandbox systems” that the studio says spawn unpredictable moments and new stories every time players load in. Coyote House Games is a two-person studio formed by Sam, formerly game director on Midnight Ghost Hunt, and Jake, an animator whose credits include work for Marvel and Warner Music.

A free demo covering the tutorial and the first two levels is live on Steam starting today, October 19, as part of Steam Next Fest. The full game launches December 3, 2026 on Steam, Xbox on PC, and Xbox PC Game Pass. No console release was announced. Pricing has not been posted.

The raccoon co-op pitch joins a small but loud “friendslop” mini-genre of sandbox-chaos games that includes Goose Goose Duck and Content Warning, both of which lean on easy controls and emergent physics for the laughs. TheSixthAxis’s hands-on describes Dumpster Gang as “fast and loose” with how its puzzles are explained, which fits the genre. Players who want to see the demo before launch can compare it with our every game releasing in November 2026 list and our Every Game Releasing This Week roundup for the rest of the Q4 calendar.

The day-one Xbox PC Game Pass landing is the headline for Microsoft subscribers. It also signals how Curve chooses which of its releases to bring to Microsoft’s subscription push. The publisher has put three of its last four titles on PC Game Pass. The 1-4 player co-op sandbox format is now a fixture of the service, and the demo running through Steam Next Fest is the publisher’s main marketing asset before launch. Pricing is the next datapoint to watch: Curve’s recent For The King and Lawn Mowing Simulator launches both hit PC Game Pass at full retail, so expect the same here unless the demo numbers prompt a different plan.

What’s next: no price has been announced yet. The demo stays live through Steam Next Fest’s run.
