ID@Xbox Showcase October 2026: Every Game, Date and Game Pass Pick

Xbox’s ID@Xbox and IGN Showcase on October 20, 2026 covered 21 indie games, with two world premieres, a surprise launch and eight confirmed for Game Pass, according to Xbox Wire’s official recap. The nearest dates are this month: Scramble Knights Online on October 26, then Mouthwashing and The Wolf Among Us Remastered on October 29.

The reveals were A Game About Digging a Hole Together, a co-op sequel to the beach-digging sandbox, and Magenta Down, a sci-fi survival adventure from the team behind Unto The End. The surprise was CRITICAL REFLEX’s frying sim Arctic Eggs, which went on sale on Xbox Series X|S during the show.

“No” in the Game Pass column means Xbox didn’t announce it for Game Pass in the recap. Croak, Graytail, Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game, Paper Shredder, Red Kiss and Rustown are listed with Xbox Play Anywhere support, so one purchase covers console and PC.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered got a new story trailer showing Bigby’s redesigned werewolf form. The recap lists it for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and our release time guide and cross-save explainer cover launch day. Shrek 2 Remastered pre-orders are up to 20% off with Game Pass through November 9 (10% for non-members), following our earlier report on its Xbox Store listing.

For Game Pass members, the short-term value is Mouthwashing, the psychological horror drama that arrives on Xbox and Game Pass together on October 29. The bigger story is how much of this show lands in 2027: 12 of the 21 games are dated for 2027, so this was more a long-term pipeline than a holiday lineup. Croak is the safest bet among those, with a firm month and day-one Game Pass. Our showcase preview expected 18 games; the final show had three more.
