Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 crowned new champions on Sunday in Nice, France, as EVO France 2026 wrapped its second edition with the season’s biggest FGC (fighting game community) results in Europe. CR|DualKevin won the Street Fighter 6 crown over CR|Tachikawa in a grand finals reset, while VIT|JeonDDing took the Tekken 8 title in a 3-0 sweep.

The Capcom Pro Tour is Capcom’s annual Street Fighter 6 competitive circuit, the Tekken World Tour is Bandai Namco’s annual Tekken 8 circuit, and the Arc World Tour is Arc System Works’ cross-game fighting-game circuit. Crazy Raccoon is a Japanese esports organization, while Team Vitality is a French one.

DualKevin (Rashid) and Tachikawa (C. Viper), both on Crazy Raccoon, met in the Street Fighter 6 grand finals after navigating opposite sides of the bracket. Tachikawa opened the set 3-1, but DualKevin reset the bracket and closed out the second set 3-2 to seal the EVO France trophy and a slot at this year’s Capcom Cup. The EVO France win, as the last Premier stop on the 2026 Capcom Pro Tour, was the marquee qualification opportunity of the fall season. Punk (Cammy) finished third, with Saishunkan|Kobayan (Zangief) in fourth. The Street Fighter 6 bracket drew 1,075 entrants, the largest of the seven main titles, and awarded a €50,000 (about $55,994) prize pool.

In Tekken 8, JeonDDing (Eddy) never trailed in the bracket. He swept KRX|LowHigh (Bryan) 3-0 in the grand finals after a 3-2 winners-finals rematch, and added a Tekken World Tour Master+ trophy to his 2026 resume. The Tekken 8 bracket drew nearly 1,000 entrants and awarded €38,250 (about $42,836). DNS|Ulsan (Dragunov, Bob) took third, and ORC|Dawood Sikandar (Alisa, Kuma) finished fourth.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls ran its first EVO main-stage bracket, with EVO France serving as the first Arc World Tour qualifier for the game. The seven-title lineup drew more than 3,800 entrants combined and awarded €313,465 (about $350,944) in total prize money. Tekken 8 GOAT Arslan Ash, who has won eight Evo titles across his career, was the most notable absence; he skipped the event to focus on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Bandai Namco also used the weekend to debut Roger Jr.’s Tekken 8 gameplay and a first look at Yujiro Hanma’s in-game model, which Pixel Herald covered separately the same day. The Marvel Tokon Year One DLC (Venom, Mighty Thor, Jubilee, Phoenix Cyclops) was also revealed at the event, while the LoL Worlds 2026 Play-In draw sets up next week’s start in Los Angeles.

The two grand finals side by side:

Tournament Winner Runner-up Grand finals score Entrants Prize pool
Street Fighter 6 DualKevin (Rashid) Tachikawa (C. Viper) 3-2 (reset) 1,075 €50,000
Tekken 8 JeonDDing (Eddy) LowHigh (Bryan) 3-0 ~1,000 €38,250

Our read: EVO France 2026’s marquee story was the all-Crazy Raccoon Street Fighter 6 grand finals. Tachikawa won the first set 3-1 before DualKevin reset the bracket and closed out 3-2, and both finalists had already locked in Capcom Pro Tour points before EVO, so the Premier-level win was more about seeding than qualification. In Tekken 8, JeonDDing (Eddy) was the only player in the bracket to take a set off LowHigh (two, in fact, in the 3-2 winners-finals win), then closed out the grand finals 3-0. With Arslan Ash (the eight-time Evo champion) sitting this one out, the fall calendar now sets up the Capcom Cup and the January 2027 TWT Finals as the season’s biggest stages, alongside next week’s LoL Worlds Play-In in LA.

What’s next: Both Street Fighter 6 finalists are now qualified for the 2026 Capcom Pro Tour finale, the Capcom Cup (Capcom has not yet announced a date or location). The Tekken World Tour Finals run January 17, 2027.
