Halo: The Master Chief Collection for $9.99 at Steam is the headline. That’s 75% off the $39.99 price tag on six campaigns and their multiplayer, with the Anniversary editions of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 rebuilt from the ground up. The collection still pulls a healthy player base on Steam, and $9.99 is the kind of price that turns curious PC players into Halo fans. Sale runs through October 19.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – GOTY Edition is $29.99 (-50%) on Steam until October 15. The 2019 FromSoftware game picked up Game of the Year and remains one of the most demanding parry systems in action games. Half off is rare for a FromSoftware title this early in its discount cycle’s high gear, and PC players who never jumped in during 2020 finally have a reason to. Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced is $19.79 (-56%) on Steam through October 22. The Enhanced version includes ray tracing, faster load times, and the Career Builder for new players, and Rockstar’s GTA Online keeps the lobbies active every night.
Out of Sight is free on the Epic Games Store through October 15. It’s a second-person atmospheric adventure through a mysterious mansion and sits at an 80 on Metacritic. TerraScape is also free on the Epic Store through October 15 — a cozy 3D city builder with randomly generated maps, the second consecutive week of two free Epic games after last Thursday’s Deal Radar.

Skip Palworld at $20.99 (-30%) on Steam. Palworld has dropped to $14.99 in past Steam sales, and 30% off doesn’t get close. The textbook case from our guide on spotting real game deals. Worth waiting a few weeks for the next major discount if you missed the lower one.
Our read: The standouts today are the deeper GOG and Steam cuts on smaller well-reviewed games. Metro 2033 Redux, Death’s Door, and Lacuna at $1.59 to $1.99 are the kind of impulse-grab prices where the question is “why not,” not “should I.” Halo MCC at $9.99 is the pick for anyone who has been meaning to try the Master Chief saga on PC without spending $40, and Sekiro at half price is the rare FromSoftware deal worth pulling the trigger on before October 15.
