Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches on October 15, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch. Konami set the date at the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, and pre-orders are open in two versions: the Standard Edition and the Midnight Edition.
The Switch version launches the same day. It was missing from the first announcement, but Konami’s Japanese Castlevania account confirmed the October 15 Switch date in July. There’s no native Switch 2 edition announced; the Switch version should run on Switch 2 through backward compatibility.
PC players may see October 14 on Steam. That’s a time-zone quirk of the store’s local release time, not a different launch date.
Belmont’s Curse is a new Castlevania, not a collection of the classics, so it’s the series’ first fresh entry in years. Physical copies were listed at $39.99 on every platform in July, so there’s no price penalty for picking the Switch version if that’s where you play most.
