Beast of Reincarnation: Game Freak’s Final Patch Lands October 19

Game Freak will release its final post-launch update for Beast of Reincarnation on October 19, 2026, the studio announced today via a lengthy post on X.

The October 19 patch will be the last in what Game Freak called “this ongoing phase of major post-launch updates.” “We want to share that our current post-launch update cycle is coming to a close,” the post reads, adding that “frequent updates will be coming to an end.” Game Freak did not say the game is going fully unsupported, but Polygon reports the wording leaves no expectation of major content or fixes after October 19.

The action RPG launched August 3, 2026 to mixed reviews. Game Freak encouraged players to submit feedback through the official support form. Not yet announced: whether any critical bug fixes will still ship after October 19, or whether the studio will revisit the game later.
