FreeStyle Football 2 launches December 3 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, developer Woore and publisher JOYCITY confirmed. Pre-orders are open now, with a 10% launch discount running through release day.

The game is a 5v5 online multiplayer soccer title built around character roles and skill loadouts rather than full 11-a-side simulation. Each position has a unique role, the studio says, and matches are tuned to run fast and flashy. Players can push forward with an aggressive formation, sit back on a counter, or pull off distinctive character-specific moves. Maps include city pitches and arenas set against “iconic landmarks around the world,” with a roster of characters who each carry their own backstory and personality.

Three editions are up for pre-order. Standard lists at $29.99 ($26.99 with the 10% discount). Deluxe at $39.99 ($35.99) adds three days of early access starting November 30, the FEROX Wrestling Set, two Player Recruit Tickets, a Deluxe License profile icon, Prism x500, and Reyal x5,000. Prism and Reyal are the game’s in-game currencies. Ultimate at $69.99 ($62.99) layers in the Death Game Set (four items), eight Character Holograms, Lifetime Free Ultimate Items, a Premium Pass Ticket, and a bigger Prism and Reyal bundle. All editions include the ZEPHYR and HORIZON pre-order sets at no extra cost.

The launch window puts FreeStyle Football 2 directly in the path of EA Sports FC 27’s late-season live updates and the NBA 2K27 launch on October 16, both of which already dominate the football and basketball conversation. JOYCITY is positioning FreeStyle Football 2 as a different kind of pitch: 5v5, role-driven, and built around individual skills rather than realistic simulation. Our recent look at EA Sports FC 27’s Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond Women content and the What’s Selling sales roundup both show that EA’s simulation pitch is the dominant one in October. FreeStyle Football 2 is the role-driven alternative, not the simulation alternative.

System requirements run modest for the standard tier: an Intel i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 3500X with a GeForce GTX 1650, 16GB of RAM, and 60GB of storage. The recommended spec lands on an i5-12400 or Ryzen 5 5600 with an RTX 2070. The game supports nine languages at launch, including English, Korean, French, German, and Spanish. JOYCITY notes that generative AI was used to assist in the creation of certain textures and UI elements, which were then refined by the internal development team. The game’s full launch joins a busy Q4 on the full release calendar.

Pre-orders are live now on Steam, with the discount running through the December 3 launch. The pre-order and launch trailer is on the FreeStyle Football 2 YouTube channel.
