Three of the best-reviewed PC games of the last decade are at deep discounts today, the Epic Games Store swapped in a fresh batch of freebies, and one big Steam sale expires before most readers reach the page. Here are the deals actually worth your time.

- Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise (Epic Games Store, free through October 22): A spy-fi point-and-click adventure with 30+ rooms of gadget-based puzzles and a sharp script. Was $19.99.
- Bad Cheese (Epic Games Store, free through October 22): A short, stylized first-person horror game told in the 1920s rubber-hose animation style. Was $12.99; not for kids.
- Castlevania: 40th Anniversary (App Store + Google Play, free through October 24): The original 1986 NES Castlevania, freshly offered for mobile. A fitting tie-in to today’s Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launch on consoles and PC.

All eight come from CheapShark’s live price tracker across GOG, Steam, GreenManGaming and Humble; the discounts are deep enough that several match their typical historic lows at 90% off or near. Compared with last week’s batch, the standout shifts are Disco Elysium finally back at $9.99 on GOG (it has hovered between $9.99 and $14.99 most of 2026) and the Homeworld Remastered Collection hitting a new low at GreenManGaming versus Steam’s $5.99 floor.
Disco Elysium – The Final Cut is the day’s headline: a 97-Metacritic detective RPG with the Final Cut’s full voice acting and extra vision quests, sitting at $10. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered at $24.99 is the remastered GOTY with the Complete Edition expansions; half price is roughly where it sat during last winter’s Winter Sale. Homeworld Remastered Collection at $4.73 packs two classic RTS games and updated models, with the developer-published source code supporting community mods.
The sub-$3 crowd is also strong: Metro 2033 Redux at $1.99 is the cheapest entry point into the modern Metro series with both DLCs bundled; Metro Exodus at $2.99 covers the trilogy’s open-world Russia entry; Shadow Tactics at $3.99 on Steam stays one of the cheapest copies of a recent Mimimi-style tactics game; Lacuna at $1.59 on GOG is a meditative 86-Metacritic point-and-click about a courier erasing memories; The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition at $2.99 stays the bridge between Witcher 1 and Witcher 3 for anyone starting the series from scratch.

- ARC Raiders at 50% off for $19.99 on Steam: The sticker looks fine, but the deal expires today at noon Central, roughly a half-hour from this post. By the time you add it to your cart, check out and download the 25GB client, the window is closed. The same developer rotates Steam discounts every four to six weeks; wait for the next one with a proper runway rather than chasing a deal that finishes mid-afternoon.
Prices pulled at fetch time; verify the deal is still live before checkout. All prices in USD.
