The Oliver Twins have announced The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection, a three-game compilation that bundles Dizzy the Adventurer, Go Dizzy Go, and Panic Dizzy onto one “mega 16-bit cartridge.” The reveal went out today at Crash Live in Coventry from original creators Philip and Andrew Oliver, and lands at the start of a year-long run-up to Dizzy’s 40th anniversary in 2027.
First published by Codemasters in 1987, Dizzy helped put the Oliver Twins on the map when they were teenagers; the series went on to spawn more than 25 titles across home computers and consoles through the early 1990s. The new compilation pairs the fairy-tale quest to rescue Daisy in Dizzy the Adventurer with arcade-style maze action in Go Dizzy Go and a trio of brain-teasers in Panic Dizzy, framed for both returning fans and players new to the series.
The release is built around a single 16-bit cartridge, with a Kickstarter preview page live now where backers can sign up for launch notifications ahead of the campaign going live later today. No release window, price, or specific cartridge hardware (such as Evercade or a bespoke unit) has been confirmed yet. A 50-second teaser video and individual gameplay clips for all three titles are already on the Oliver Twins’ YouTube channel.
