Moon Studios has set a March 2027 launch for No Rest for the Wicked’s full 1.0 release, the developer confirmed today in a new “Wicked Inside” showcase. The Soulslike action-RPG will leave Early Access on PC and arrive on PlayStation 5 the same day, with a brand-new class system, six faction questlines and a “Cerim Cores” upgrade layer that the studio says will roughly double the size of the game.
The old attribute system is gone. Just picking up a weapon now shifts a player into one of 24 classes, with 362 traits that can be mixed across them. Spears charged with electricity, stealth finishers that end fights before they start, and synergy crafting that stacks traits from multiple classes are all on the menu. Six factions, the assassins of the Severed Hand, the knightly Sacrament Guard and the Unspoken among them, each run their own questline with unique vendors and rewards. Cerim Cores add a second risk-versus-reward layer, with exotic upgrades like “Feral” for attack speed and “Crimson” for lifesteal, though going over capacity means taking more damage from every hit.
No Rest for the Wicked launched in Early Access on Steam in April 2024 and has since passed two million players. Moon Studios hasn’t yet announced a specific March day, an Xbox Series X|S release, or 1.0 pricing.
