Grand Theft Auto VI is still set for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar hasn’t announced any further delay since it moved the game to that date in November 2025.

The road here was long. GTA 6 was first slated for fall 2025, then moved to May 26, 2026, and finally to November 19. Rockstar said the extra months would let it “finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve” (Gigazine).

There’s still no PC date. Rockstar has historically brought its games to PC after the console launch. GTA 5, for example, reached PC about 19 months after it hit consoles. Nintendo has also said a Switch 2 version is up to Rockstar.

The game is set in the state of Leonida, Rockstar’s take on Florida, including a modern Vice City. It follows two leads, Lucia and Jason, as shown in Rockstar’s trailers.
