Rockstar is reportedly planning to bring Grand Theft Auto VI to PC in the first quarter of 2027, just two to five months after the November 19, 2026 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. GamesBeat reported the plan on Tuesday, citing four industry sources who asked not to be named.

The window would be a sharp break from Rockstar’s recent console-to-PC gaps. GTA 5 took roughly 19 months to reach PC after its September 2013 console debut, and Red Dead Redemption 2 took just over a year. A short gap also lines up with what Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick hinted at earlier this year, when he said the company tends not to “go across all platforms simultaneously” while acknowledging PC demand.

A Rockstar Games representative did not respond to GamesBeat’s request for comment, and Rockstar has not officially announced the PC version. Pricing, system requirements and pre-order information for the PC release have not been announced.

GTA 6 is still slated for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release, if the report holds, would land between January and March 2027.
