Nintendo released a new four-and-a-half-minute overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 this morning, showing off features that didn’t make the original reveal back in June. The trailer is on Nintendo of America’s YouTube channel now, and the game is still locked to November 5.

The biggest new addition is Hall of Fallen Foes, a Wind Waker HD-style gallery where you can view statues of enemies you’ve defeated on your travels. Nintendo is also showing Zelda Notes for the first time, a companion app that ties into the Switch 2 version, and confirming that existing Zelda amiibo will work in-game to drop items like hearts, bombs, and rupees, with a new line of Zelda amiibo on the way.

Link can also mimic Ocarina songs you hum into the Switch 2 microphone, and the trailer shows a real-life Ocarina working the same way. The game is priced at $59.99 digital and $69.99 physical in the US, and it’s Switch 2 only — original Switch owners can’t play it. Nintendo’s full Direct walkthrough from Eiji Aonuma is still the best deep dive, and the new overview trailer doesn’t mention a Day One patch or pre-order bonuses beyond the standard amiibo support.
