Polyphony Digital is rolling out Part 1 of the Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV update today, October 14, with six new cars, the Sportsland Sugo circuit, new Car Viewer features, a new Experience mode, six new World Circuit events, and fresh Scapes locations. The free update arrives globally at 11:00 PM PDT (7:00 AM BST on October 15, 3:00 PM JST).

The new cars include the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo, an electric hypercar developed with Xiaomi Auto’s design team; the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94; the Honda Civic Si Group A version ’87 (based on the Mugen Motul Civic that won its class at the 1987 All-Japan Touring Car Championship); the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo ’26; the Honda Step WGN Spada Premium Line ’23; and the Citroën 2 CV 6 Charleston ’86. Cars marked with asterisks are available from Brand Central and can also be earned through credits.

To mark 30 years of Gran Turismo, Sony is unveiling the DualSense Wireless Controller Gran Turismo Limited Edition, a carbon-fibre-style pad with racing stripes and motorsport-inspired graphics. It will retail for $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 (including tax), €84.99, or £74.99, with pre-orders opening October 22 at 10:00 AM local time direct from PlayStation in limited quantities, while supplies last. The controller launches globally on December 10.

Gran Turismo series producer Kazunori Yamauchi said the commemorative controller “celebrates the journey we have shared together.” Polyphony has not yet announced a release date for Part 2 of Spec IV.
