PUKEY GODDESS SHOT TRICK, published on Steam as Drunken Goddess Reflux, will launch in Japan on December 8, 2026, ending a long wait that Automaton’s editors called “とうとう発売” (“finally on sale”). The date appeared in the outlet’s October 11 weekly recap, and the publisher Alliance Arts has not yet posted a corresponding English-language press release.
Drunken Goddess Reflux is a single-player survival game built around shot-glass Russian roulette with a yandere liquor demon named Femme Soule. Players trade pulls with her in Hell’s bar Pandemonium, getting progressively more intoxicated as the night wears on, with the rule-bending “drunk tricks” system reshaping play the deeper into the bottle you go. The Steam page lists English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese as supported languages with full audio, and credits voice actor Nanahira alongside a theme song (“DEMON’S SHOT”) from Aiobahn +81 and DEMONDICE.
Developer WHO YOU (producer and scenario writer Fuyuki Hayashi) leads the project with art director odyk; Alliance Arts is both developer and publisher. The Steam page still shows a “To be announced” release date, meaning the December 8 launch is currently confirmed only for the Japanese release window. Pricing on Steam is also unlisted. Full release calendar.
Can you play it in English?
Yes, on PC. The Steam store page is live, English is listed as a supported language with full audio, and an English trailer (“Drunken Goddess Reflux_1st Trailer”) is already embedded on the page. The catch: the Steam release date is still TBA, so the December 8 launch applies to Japan first. Alliance Arts has not confirmed a same-day or near-simultaneous English release, and there is no console version announced. No Asia-region page on PlayStation or Nintendo has surfaced either, so the most reliable path for English-speaking players is to wishlist the Steam page and wait for an announcement. Like other recent Japan-only console ports (see M2’s Senxin Aleste for March 2027), the English version’s timing depends on when the publisher feels the install base abroad is worth a same-day launch.
