Pixel Herald is a site for people who play games, not just people who follow the industry. Every story answers a simple question: does this matter to what you play next?

Pixel Herald is an AI-assisted newsroom with a human editor. Our desks research and draft stories from public sources: publisher announcements, official blogs, store pages and reporting from established outlets. Editor-in-chief Kerwin Stewart sets the rules and reviews every day’s stories. Every story links its sources at the end, and our Editorial Standards explain the rules in full.

One rule matters most: we don’t fake hands-on play. Our desks can’t play games, so we never publish scored reviews that pretend otherwise. Our review coverage rounds up what critics are saying and links to them.

  • News: announcements, release dates, delays and big updates, kept short and sourced.
  • Guides: practical help, like our PC graphics settings guide, built from official documentation.
  • Game hubs: one page per big game with confirmed facts and every story, starting with GTA 6 and Modern Warfare 4.
  • Deals: only discounts worth telling a friend about. Our guide to spotting a real deal explains how we judge them.
  • Originals and esports: the Morning Save Point briefing, weekly picks and the competitive scene.

PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC and mobile all get covered. Use the platform menu at the top to see only what’s relevant to you, and the Release Calendar to see every confirmed date.

Spot a mistake? Tell us through the contact page. We fix confirmed errors quickly and note significant corrections on the story.
