Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice are being delisted from Steam on October 23, 2026, publisher Assemble Entertainment announced this week. Both games are running a 95% off sale in the US right now, dropping to $1.99 each from their usual $39.99 price tag.

What’s getting pulled

The two Larry revivals are disappearing together. Wet Dreams Don’t Dry (2018) was the surprise return of the franchise after years of dormancy, putting Larry back into the modern world with a dating app called Timber and a non-linear story about chasing Faith. Wet Dreams Dry Twice (2020) is its sequel, a longer island-hopping adventure that wrapped up the reboot’s story on the Kalau’a archipelago.

The 95% off sale is live now on Steam for US shoppers, and the same low price (£0.89 in the UK) is already showing on GOG and the Nintendo eShop. VGC notes it is not yet clear whether PlayStation or Xbox will get matching discounts before October 23. Once that date passes, the two games come off Steam entirely, and the older Sierra-era Leisure Suit Larry titles pulled last year remain gone.

Why now

Assemble did not explain the delisting, but the pattern matches what happened in 2025. The publisher pulled the seven Sierra-era entries from Steam then (Leisure Suit Larry 1 through 7 and 2004’s Magna Cum Laude) and they have not come back. At the time, Video Game History Foundation library director Phil Salvador pointed to a 2018 Steam message from Assemble that said the Leisure Suit Larry IP is owned by Codemasters and was licensed to Assemble for exclusive online distribution rights on the platform.

EA bought Codemasters in 2021, so if that licensing deal has ended or not been renewed, Assemble loses the right to sell the games on Steam. The GOG versions of the older Larry games stayed available after last year’s delisting because the 2018 licensing carve-out did not cover GOG distribution. The same arrangement may be why the Wet Dreams pair is still on GOG and Switch even after they vanish from Valve’s store.

What you can still do

If you have ever been curious about the modern Larry games, the 95% off sale is the cheapest way to find out whether the reboots land. Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Dry Twice are Steam Deck compatible, both support macOS, and both are well-reviewed: a 4/5 from Screen Rant and a 91 from RageQuitGR for the sequel. The deal runs until the games come down on October 23.

The bigger question is what happens to the franchise next. Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust (2009) was never sold digitally, and EA has not announced any plan to revive the series. After October 23, anyone who wants to play a Larry game on PC will have to track down the older GOG catalog or hunt for a used copy of Box Office Bust on Xbox 360, PS3, or PC disc.
